World fastest BMW?

It looks like it’s true. German tuner G-Power says that their Hurricane M5 BMW reached 360 km/h on the Papenburg racetrack in Germany. G-Power officials said that the car can reach up to 402 km/h, but the poor weather conditions stopped them to make another try.

The Hurricane is powered by the V10 engine from de M5, but the two supercharges that G-Power added boost the power up to 730 HP. There are also modificatios on the engine management system, suspensions and brakes.

So, Hurricane is able to sprint from 0 to 100km/h in just 4,2 seconds and reaches 300 km/h in 29,5 seconds from a stand still.

Now, I can see a war coming…Brabus Rocket (CLS based) is registred as “the fastest saloon in the world” after a test when it topped 362,4 km/h. The Hurricane is very, very close…Also, there is the 810 HP M5 from the Currency Motor Cars which is said to be able to reach 386 km/h, but this fact is not yet proved in an official test.
